My wife and I will be there, but are leaving Thursday AM so we can enjoy the area before the meet begins.

FYI, this was posted on the CZC forum:

All who wish to caravan to Midwest Z Heritage on Friday, June 14th:
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Meet at Lodi exit (#204) on Route 71S at the McDonalds at 7:30am, we will be LEAVING promptly at 8am.

Be sure to bring 2-way handheld radio to join in the conversations on the way. We normally run Channel 5. These radios are $25-30/pair at Walmart or the like for a basic set.

Welcome, I like your intro. There is nothing that feels better than looking at your car, getting in it and feeling in love with her like the first day! :D
Well maybe s.x... :leghump:

Well, I have had my car for over a year and I still feel the same way about her as when I first picked her up. I am SO glad that I did not go with the vette! Every time I walk away from my car I have to turn around and get another look because she is that damn sexy plus no one really stares down a vette like they do a Z Nismo!

:worship:

Looking at the mods I had planned a year ago I have stuck with so far except for the front bumper because I didn't plan on some jacka$$ backing into it. In the end I am almost glad that it was hit because that Stillen bumper looks amazing :icon17:

I still need to get the fast intentions exhaust though! I'm slacking.....:shakes head:

hi

I was leaning towards a c6 corvette until I saw the stingray. they have done a great job making the c6 look outdated and I just can't buy the c6 after seeing it. I haven't liked the revision to new model cars lately but the new corvettes are really a home run for GM.

I agree that the c7 stingray looks great (other than the tail lights..wtf?) but how many times will that sucker get recalled? :rofl2:

I'm not a huge fan of the C6, the 7 is improved and I'll probably buy one in 5 years when they get through all the recalls. :ugh2:

Love my Z. I have tried many other cars in the meantime but the Z just does it for me.

mab864 07-17-2014 07:32 AM

I really like the C7s too. Big improvement. I drove a C6 before I bought the Z and just couldn't get past that plastic looking interior. And the leather on the drivers seat was completely trashed and the car only had 30K on it. I liked it other than that. I'd like to drive a C7...

I am glad to see after a year you still feel the same way. It sucks to have buyers remorse. I only have once in my life when it came to cars. I research them much better ever since. You really should do the exhaust. I think my car only had around 700 miles when I did mine. It just adds so much to the enjoyment of the car......JUST DO IT!

I just pm'd a guy in the for sale section for test pipes. That will be step one...then step two is to get the CBE....I want either fast intentions or meistershaft (don't know if I feel like spending that much)

Hi Wolfenstein! I'm in Brook Park. I waited 18 years to get my Z (waited until my son graduated high school). It was between the Z and Vette for me too (due to wanting a 2-seater). The Z is a better choice due to what you get for the money. I've had Zeus since September. Every time I drive him feels like the first. LOVE this car! And I enjoy watching people give themselves whiplash to get a look as I drive by...

Hello Janglez! :hello: Were you the black cherry Z I waved to on 83 and center ridge yesterday?

janglez 07-17-2014 01:21 PM

No, wasn't me. I didn't have the Z out yesterday.
