370Z Nismo # 58
 

Took delivery of my 370Z Nismo Platinum Graphite Tuesday last week. It shipped to Birmingham, AL and I had the dealer drive it down to Enterprise, AL. I ordered one from the factory on Monday, but they saw that Birmingham took delivery on exactly what I ordered the very next day, so I lucked out. Woot. I love her, I just traded my 2007 Mazdaspeed3 for the Nissan. It's my first Nissan, and I'm actually a little dissapointed, my Mazda ran high 12's in the quartermile, so this Nissan feels a little under powered. We'll see if I can improve on it. I took pictures of the car today at work when I saw a Nissan 350z Nismo? in my parking lot. Pretty cool, it's the same color too.

Oh.. btw my Nismo is number 58 if anyone cares.

12's huh? That is one of the fastest ones I have seen or heard of.- Put the same amount of money in mods on the Z, and my guess is the Z will be quicker.

Congrats....but 2 questions.

1) why would let the dealer drive the car down....i assure you it was ragged on
2) how is that 350z a Nismo? it's just a 350 with front bumper

I was under the impression the 350z had a nismo version, and that this one was it. I put a question mark next to 350z nismo? cause I wasn't too sure. Also, the guy who drove it down was an 89 year old retired pastor, if he ragged on it, then oh well. They actually drove it 10 extra miles cause they took the longer way that has no 18 wheelers. :)

That 350 is just a 350, not a 350 Nismo (and yes there was a 350 Nismo). He just has the replica Nismo front bumper.

Nice mods on the 3. I bet that was fun as **** to drive on the street! My wife had a speed 6, it was stock, but still a blast to drive from redlight to redlight and around corners. But if you put that much money in mods for the Z it will outperform the 3.

Haha I'm no different new, or long time veteran. I'm just messing around and being nostalgic. You guys are real friendly, and no I don't believe this to be "my" world lol.

As far as plans are concerned I'm gonna wait for a supercharger and be somewhat conservative with exdterior mods since it already has the nismo kits and 285 tires. I ordered the kenwood dnx9140 radio since the nismo doesn't come with bluetooth or navigation. After I get that on the car I'm gonna get some leather reclining carbon fiber backed Bride racing seats. Yay holding monster! Oh and I ordered the B&M short shifter, and stillen headers today :)

At least the Dreamer answered his question. Now he can log off informed not just with a "nice car" stroking! Its a given that its a nice car... its a Z. Everyone's car is nice. Even one that everyone thinks sucks- but its nice to who ever put the money into it. I wana see a chick get Nismo get #69. That would be cool.

So I ran a search for 2012 Nissan 370Z on yahoo and came across this pic. Low and behold, It's my 350z!! And yes it's just a Nismo replica bumper.

And on another note, I've got a buyer lined up to take delivery on saturday...$15k HA! PW 370z next???... :happydance:
