New 370Z Nismo
Just picked up my 370Z Nismo this afternoon. Magnetic Black. I know, pics. Hopefully it won't be raining tomorrow and I'll snap some pics. Ive been driving an 03 track model but I think I have found a new love!!!! This thing looks awesome!!!! Drives purty good too!!!:icon18:
|
congrats.
1st nismo owner of the forums?? |
Not sure if first on forum, but first in Nissan's district down here. Louisana Z club meeting tommorrow, can't wait to see eveyone's reaction!!!
|
thats awesome. some say nismo model is not worth it, but just having a real nismo Z is worth it to me. like a collectable.
did u get to test drive a reg 370Z. if so, what are the differences besides suspension. |
Yes, I did drive a regular 370z. This car feels a lot tighter. I know a lot of people will say buy a base or sport model and do your own upgrades. But I think I ended up with just what I wanted. Its fast, it handles great, and looks fantastic. It has dual exhaust, body dampers, bodykit and the interior looks slammin with the red stiching and nismo logo's. Best of all it is all under warranty.
|
time for you to update ur profile description.
so, what happens to you're '03. |
congrats on the purchase! A lot of people will say the nismo is not worth it, but IMO you buy a car because its what you want. If it came in yellow, I would have waited lol. I can't wait to see some pictures!
|
a yellow nismo would be rare !!
|
I'll update everything tommorrow on my profile, after I get some pics. I hate to say it but I told my wife I would sell my Pumpkin(03 track orange). I get to keep all of my old Z's, but the 03 is going to have to go. Before anyone asks, I have a 260z, 1984 z31 300zx, 1990 z32 300zxtt, and a 1993 300zx vert. Boo hoo for me, but i have been driving and collecting Z's since the early 80's and on occassion came across a real good deal. Anyway I'll post pics Sunday.

boy that looks great!
give it a nice detail |
Very purdy! Congrats!
|
when you say lighter... do you know how much lighter than base the nismo is?
|
Didn't say lighter...said tighter. I doubt this car is lighter than a regular 370. It does feel tighter, I am sure because of the nismo springs, sway bars, etc.
|
:tiphat:

pics of the stable!!!

Now that is one SEXY looking automobile...
The only thing I don't like about the NISMO body kit is the rear bumper. That was one of the things I loved about the 370 is they made the rear end... END. In other words there was no continual slope that finally ended the body. And it seems with this one it kinda still has that mindset to it. Don't get me wrong, it's still damn slick and I'd drive one anyday. Just personal opinion and all. Great color choice though. The only pics I ever saw of a NISMO were in grey, which I don't want. Finally I get to see one in MY color lol. And lastly man, you miiiight wanna cut the grass. Last thing I'd want having such a beautiful car is driving it through a savannah like that right after washing it lol. |
I know what you mean about the rearend. It was really fugly on the 350 nismo. This one I think looks pretty good in black, plus 1 for getting rid of the butt plug. Also, I thought the front opening on the silver cars made the grill opening look a little small, that is why I went with the black,it kind of blends in. As for my grass....in south Louisiana it can go from 1 inch to 6 inches like an over dose of the little blue pill in one night. Drive the car > mow the grass. Thanks.
