Thanks for the info. Just checked mine, got all 3 on both front sides. Only 1600 miles for 6 months, not my daily drive car, no wonder the ride was so stiff but not so stable on hard fast corner. Thought that was how it supposed to. It was even stiffer ride than my M3 but not as easy to control for very fast corner. Now make sense. I think Nissan should contact all the Nismo owner to take care of this.

Just curious, you guys think it'd be possible to somehow find and print out what is supposed to go into the PDI that they are charging for and request money back for an inspection that obviously wasnt done correctly or at all?

Default Spring Spacers - check!

Thanks for the tip, just took delivery of NISMO #408 yesterday and first day on the forums I got this useful bit - love this place already! Sure enough, spacers were there. Spoke to my sales guy on Sunday and he said they should have been removed and to bring it back Monday. 3 minutes with a floor jack at home and it was all better. Still very locked down drive but a bit softer...

I have a copy of the PDI check list. It has no mention of the spacers for a nismo. It's more or less generic to all 370z.

I just jointed your forum because my Nismo is making a noise when I shift from 1st to 2nd gear, almost like a clunking noise. It's not there all the time, especially when I took it to a Dealer to have it looked at. Of course it did not make any noise at all. Does anyone else have this problem. I also read in your forum about the clutch making noise when the clutch is out. I have that same problem and my dealer aledgely replaced my trans, after a few months it can back and I haven't had a chance to take it back. Now I am going to have to, I found one spacer on my driver's side and I found three on my passanger side. No wonder my suspension was so stiff. Thanks for looking out.

OK....! now you got me going on these rubber blocks I found between the springs on my 370 "NISMO". I was told that this was an old NASCAR trick used to stop body roll....yea, right. I was wondering why my 370 was cornering so badly at ThunderHill Raceway!!! Shipping blocks!.......OK. I am going to look into this a little more, (probably remove them even if I have to take a SawsAll after them. :>)

yes. the front facia is lower than the touring and during transport the front gets racheted (sp) down and messes up the lip without the spacers.

Holy crap, mine has them too! I just called the dealer and they weren't aware of the issue, however they were happy to remove them and even scheduled me in for 4PM this afternoon.

Thanks for the heads up, excited to see how the car feels after this "oversight" is corrected!

It'll be night and day difference. The rear will still be stiff like before but the front, you will be like "holy sh!t". Basically with the spacers I felt like my gut was being punched each time i went over a small bump or crack. lol Now I feel like my gut is being pushed a little without the spacers.
