My understanding on UpRev is there are 2 ways of tuning. Street tune were you download the data files then send the data files to Uprev then they send you

My understanding on UpRev is there are 2 ways of tuning. Street tune were you download the data files then send the data files to Uprev then they send you back a tune. The other way is you go to a dyno and have them tune it with dyno. Am I missing something? Does the dyno/tune shop have to be UpRev certified or can it be a regular dyno/tune shop. Also wouldn’t taking it to the Dyno/tune shop fix everything and check engine light regarding the misfire code? Why if they were taking it to the Dyno/tune shop would they need a new file from Uprev just because of a check engine light?
