New 2016 Nismo & new member
 

I want to introduced myself as new member and new 370z owner.

On April 20th I took delivery of my new 2016 Nissan 370z Nismo.
Color= Brilliant Silver
Tech Package
7 speed AT
6 miles on the OD when I picked it up.

I also have a 2014 370z Roadster, tech package, 7 speed AT.

The wife drives a Black 2014 Infiniti Q50 premium edition.

sweet! How does the "Sound enhancer" (or whatever that is called) sound like, can you tell its working?

I was afraid the sound enhancer would be weird but it's actually insane. The car has 3 microphone in the ceiling and speakers dedicated the sound enhancement.

Let's just say I have turned the roadster over to the wife ever since I got the Nismo. She drives it when she doesn't have the kids.

I have attached the owners manual info in regards to the sound enhancement.

Yes 2016. I ordered it October 2014. Production started February 2015. It came off the assembly line on February 25th at 8:43. See attachment

I've been tempted, but I REALLY like not having a car payment.

I've gotten so attached to mine that I'm not sure I can ever let it go. 82,000+ miles and still in love with the car. Romped the crap out of it after work tonight.

I was almost positive you typed the year incorrectly. That's freaking amazing that the 2016 model is already out. Does this mean that all 370z models now being made are the new model or are they still making the 2015 as well? Seems really early to be making next years model already.

Yes we have stopped making MY15 Zs and moved to MY16 as of February 2015.

I live out at the Rez and travel through Ridgeland daily on my way to work at the Nissan plant. I also have cherry black roadster with a Saints license plate. My nismo will also have a Saints license plate.

Nice looking cars :tup: Are you planning to lease a GT-R next? I am sure you get amazing deals as a Nissan employee.
How does the "sound enhancer" work? Does it play Ferrari engine sounds to make you feel like you are driving an ultra sports car? :D

Had no idea the 2016's were in the pipeline so soon, but it makes sense.

It does not seem as if the 2015 370z Nismos were in production for any more than a few months. Does this mean the production numbers on the z and/or Nismos were very low?

Glad I got the 2015 Nismo. I don't need stupid sound enhancer.

I wouldn't turn down a 2016, but the NISMO exhaust is the only sound enhancer I need. :icon17:

Interesting. My 2015 I just bought said it was built in December. It was at the dealer about 2 months according to the online inventory thing (which usually show up a bit early).

Don't want a sound enhancer except maybe the fancy thing on the inside but hearing the engine is part of why you pick a Nismo, I would think...

Never seen one in brilliant silver but mines pretty rare too :rolleyes: 2015 solid red Nismo Tech 6 speed. Welcome to the elite of the elite sir! I can't believe the 2016s are out already!

I thought I wouldn't like the sound enhancement but it's crazy and I love it. I have two 370z's, and one is a roadster. I haven't drove the roadster since getting the nismo and can't keep my foot off the accelerator. I can have the radio pumping and the two subs bumping and still hear the roar of the engine. I don't disagree that it's somewhat artificial, but I love everything about the car. I have had up to 125.5 already.

I have recorded videos of the sound enhancement will post as soon as I can.

This is not a bad view to have from your drive way.
