Welcome....I'm just curious, and somebody else mentioned it before, if you had 65k to dump on a used gtr, you bought your Z for 20K, why not just use the 45k for to TT now instead of later?? as for the affordable kits, I believe (and correct me if I'm wrong) but BP Single turbo might be the "cheapest" so far with great gains....btw it makes no sense to compare a modded car to a stock car, mod both cars and compare them later or compare both cars stock for stock, guarantee you the Z is way better that your vw stock, mod the Z and it will be better as well.... btw what are the other 6 cars you have??

Example car loans can be gotten for 1.49% new and used cars at 1.99% on the internet. Conservative investments have yields of 4% with much higher returns if you have some money invested in the stock market. So let's say we're moderate investors and put 50% in bonds with the other 50% in stocks. We average an annual moderate return of 6%. In very simplistic math, $10,000 at 1.99% equals to $199 interest paid. $10,000 at 6% earned is $600. A difference of $401 profit for the year without lifting a finger. Multiply this times 7 (amount of cars you own) and this can add up pretty quickly. I don't know about you, but I like making money without lifting a finger |

I have my own business which makes money 24hrs. Im out of town and its making more money. Most of my money is re invested into the business. Im also 27 years old. I hate owing and paying interest which is why i pay them off. I own my own home as well, well owe it since i just got it a year ago. So no i dont do stocks as for me the payoff is too small for me when i can invest in my business. With 10k i can net an easy 1k a month instead of $600 a year. I also buy and resell many things like atvs.

bti, I must concede, you are a superior business owner than I. 120% net profit is unbelievable. As a business owner for the last 19 years + there is no way I could ever come close to that. In fact, most businesses would be ecstatic with 30%!
You owning 7 (6 turbo) cars plus a home at 27 is phenominal, I just own and live in a doghouse plus drive a Z, just ask kenchan . Maybe one day you can share your expertise in finance/business with us mere mortals but I do have one question, with all your assets and business savvy, how is it that you can't come up with $65k to get a GTR? |

Because thats 65k i could use for my business....and your example of 120% is the first year. The second year there is no more debt on it. Cars are not my priority i am finishing school as well, and keeping and running my business. Its hard yet easy as i only work 1 to 2 days a week. Like you said rates are cheap right now which is why i financed this car. However the way i see it is say i pay 1k a month and pay it off in a year (giving the 10k down). Bam no more payments. Its hard running a business and owing everything. Like my business i dont have any debt at all thats why its profitable, if id finance all new equipment itd take longer for my roi. Anyways im here for the z talk, what springs donu guys reccomend for the stock 19s? I know it can easily handle a 1" -1.5" drop...
