Hello from west coast Canada!
Soo... The short
Got t-boned by a guy running a red light! Wrote my eclipse off,so I drove 1200 kms to pick up my 11 carbon graphite touring sport without nav. The long... I did pretty much every upgrade to the motor and suspension without putting a turbo on. Really had a lot of time and money invested into it. So I brought it into a tranny shop to get a stg 3 clutch and quaife lsd put into it. Dropped it off on a Monday, and get a call on Friday to come grab it. So I pick it up and drive it around for a couple hrs to see how it performs. Clutch was good and the lsd was phenominal! So about 3 hrs in to a cruise picking up odds and ends,I make my way home. I'm sitting in an intersection when the light turns yellow. Two cars go through when the light turns red. I go to clear the intersection and buddy came out of nowhere and totally pasted me! I tell ya,if it wasn't for his kids in the car, there would have been some blood on the scene. So I figured the car was a write off and started looking around. I knew this was the next platform I wanted to get into, but was undecided on whether to go with a g37 or the 370. They both looked good to me with the 370 being more my taste, but the infinity had more room to carry stuff around (like groceries! Lmao) but I came across a 370 for a smokin deal and figured I couldn't pass it up! And the rest is history as they say. So I went from To this I'm already in love with the way she handles at stock, let alone what I have planned for her! I look forward to being apart of this club and all the info and knowledge in these pages,as well meeting members and seeing some hot Z's. |

Pg 370
Looks familiar.
You get the one from Kelowna Nissan/Infinity? OTOH......1200 kms....I'm guessing you didn't get the one in Kelowna. I seem to recall that one was a 2010 anyway. 104 Last edited by Zipper 104; 10-19-2014 at 11:21 PM. Reason: change |

Thanks guys
Ya,the car took a good hit! Pretty solid car I have to say. Glad my ol lady wasn't in the car. She was actually going to come with me,but at the last second, decided not to. Pheew! I picked up the car in Edmonton at a subie dealership. I got them down to 25,500$. On the west coast where I live, the same car and kms go for 33,000. So I definitely saved myself a lot of mod money haha! Fi exhaust, stillen G3 intakes and tune are definitely on the way! |

Welcome...
Hi Merv
I'm downtown Vancouver. I have yet to attend anything and the 'season' is pretty much over now. My understanding is there is something out in Richmond every weekend (Sunday night???) but it isn't specifically for 370s. Civic heavy is what I heard. The quick calculation I use is about a $4 - 5 K drop/year. I figure you got a pretty nice deal on your new ride. 104 |

Civic heavy!? Yup,no good. Lol. If you hear anything and want to check it out,let me know,I'd be down for a meet or car show. Went to one in Richmond about two months back with some buddy's and the turn out was pretty good.

Glad you were ok from that accident, but you got a pretty sweet upgrade with the Z. IMHO. Congrats and welcome.
