Hi from SF/Bay Area
Hello all, quick intro of myself.
I'm old (50 now) but have been racing various vehicles since 1999 (NASA American Iron (also an instructor), Lotus Cup, ProKart Challenge, etc. etc.). The 370z is my way of "settling down" so no it's not a mid-life crisis for me, just the opposite actually. Here is my 370z ... really enjoying this car, but I have NO plans to convert yet another street car into a race car ... this one stays mostly bone stock because it makes such a great daily driver. http://robainscough.com/images/5da94...82f3828aa9.jpg http://robainscough.com/images/b1d95...a7d964f59a.jpg http://robainscough.com/images/f5841...5d8ac996a1.jpg http://robainscough.com/images/9d168...ef844d6938.jpg I have a very good mechanical and electrical background as I do all my own work on the various race cars I've own in the past ... here are some shots from one of my many engine builds for my Lotus: http://robainscough.com/images/af42f...bd10429c93.jpg http://robainscough.com/images/cc23b...6a98a65dc9.jpg http://robainscough.com/images/1ee95...71f3646f74.jpg http://robainscough.com/images/330ee...e1f20f29e6.jpg and some moments at Thunderhill racing with a different series: http://robainscough.com/images/8b457...1138c77403.jpg And the funnier moments of racing with the wife helping me out: http://robainscough.com/images/624b3...2a16068e3c.jpg So a big hello to all you 370z fans and/or sports car fans and/or race track fans -- it's all good. Cheers, Rob. |

Nice! Please explain how to get the wife involved. Mine just shakes her head and tells me to get out of the garage and come do x...y...and...z.

LOL ... it took me a long time to find the "right one" (32 years to be exact) ;)
Cheers, Rob. |
