New Z owner in Fairbanks Alaska

Hello, my name is Colby I recently picked up a 2014 Magma Red 370z 6spd MT. So far I'm Enjoying it, I just miss the boost of my Genesis or STI. Looking into doing a little light modding while I'm up here since I won't be driving year round. I would put up pics, but Im sure ya'll already know what a factory Magma Red 370z looks like

No i don't think so, id rather not risk sliding into a snowbank. so I'm looking into gettingg a lil beater with a heater and call it a day

the STI was nasty, i miss boost so much :( but i wanna lower it just a tad (roads here are ****) nice exhaust and intake for performance, tint, maybe a spoiler and i wanna get the custom painted door handles by the member on here can't remember his name

Welcome!

Having visited Alaska before, I can't imagine having a powerful RWD car as my DD, unless it's my summer ride. How do you manage?

MagmaRed370z 07-12-2014 07:26 PM

How is the 370z response, handling and power compared to your Sti? (what year?)

colbysmith 07-19-2014 10:47 AM

I haven't had the Z long (about a month and a half) so i wouldn't know how its going to do over the winter, but i plan on putting either blizzaks or maybe winter forces on it and hope for the best, worst comes to worst i garage the Z and pick up a beater with a heater, the Z feels much tighter than the STI, i had a 2011 (wagon) and it was fast but suspension wise it felt very heavy and rolled around, the Z seems so small and nimble
