Default Greetings from Atlanta!

Greetings to all!

My name is Rich...but just call me Buck. It's been my nickname since I was a kid. I'm most likely one of the older members of this community having retired in 01. As the saying goes...oil runs thru my veins and speed is a fix I need quite often.

I've owned some pretty cool cars over the years including 3 DeTomaso Pantera's and a host of turbo and supercharged cars and trucks. I'm into bikes in a big way also with usually more than a few in my garage. The fastest motorcycles I've owned are a pair of Boss Hoss's. In case you don't know, these are V8 powered motorcycles. Not just "regular" V8's, but "built" V8's. The two I've owned were both ZZ4 Chevy powered pushing out over 400hp ea to the rear wheel. That equates to 0-60 in under 2 sec's! There is nothing else like them, on two wheels...on this planet.

When I retired I sold my specialized auto-transport business which I had started 15 years earlier. We operated for RR/Bentley, Porsche of NA, MB of NA, BMW, Ferrari, Range Rover and a host of other high-line manufacturers doing a good deal of their specialized work. An interesting side note here: We were the only carrier qualified & authorized by Toyota Motor Distributors to transport their "Lexus" cars from port to the New York Auto Show for their US debut! Personally, I never thought Lexus would survive amongst the likes of BMW and Mercedes Benz. Boy was I ever wrong! Anyway, we operated 18 states in the northeastern US. It was a business I was passionate about because I loved the industry...and the people associated with it. It is something I miss being away from. The money wasn't bad either.

With that intro out of the way I would like to say that I am looking forward to tracking down and purchasing my first Z car. I consider it a great privilege to join this respected Z community, and if at any time I can answer any question(s) for any one of you, or offer assistance in any way...all you need do is ask and I'll be glad to offer up what help I can.

Thanks for having me here!

Buck
