Hello from WA!
Bought my 2013 370Z sports package in 07/2013. Love every minute of it, especially when the engine's power finally kicks in I leave everyone else in the dust. Just joined so just saying hello. :hello:

Welcome! what plans do you have for the Z?
|
Ummm not sure. Lack of money is the biggest issue right now. I want to at least put a nice stereo and maybe a good sound system, something to get a lot more thump out of it. Not sure if I want to do the whole woofer thing, being that space is an issue. I wish I had the know-how or cash flow to mess with the performance and get the car to really move, but probably not in the near future. Anything you would suggest? Mine is stock right now, just did strong tint on all the windows.

Hi
|
I have the factory Bose system in my car and the sound is definitely there for me. If you're looking to add a sub I would do that same configuration where it mounts within the spare tire to keep the most room possible
|
Cool. I want to just put in a good Pioneer deck for now. I don't think I want to do the whole sub thing cuz I did that before on another car and it turned out horrible. Even with the stock (non-Bose) system and speakers there's still a decent thump. But I want to be able to have a touch screen, Bluetooth calling, and be able to stream music through Bluetooth. And I hear the Pioneer is a good deck too. What else have you done to yours?
And hi Andrew (6MT). |
Welcome and congrats Chava. What color and any pics?

Welcome! Oh how I miss Washington. I gotta get back out there. |
Chava, Congrats on the Z and welcome aboard!
An inexpensive way to improve the sound of the current speakers in your car is to dynamat the doors and hatch. There is a DIY video on here somewhere, use the search function. I did it to mine and it makes a noticeable difference. It's not hard to do but it took me about 4 - 4 1/2 hours for both doors and the hatch. Buying the plastic tools to remove the interior parts of the Z and the dynamat on Amazon cost me approx $60, if memory serves me correctly. |
Oops, Cost me approx $160 not $60.

And thxs everyone for welcoming me to the forum. Let me just repeat that I love my 370z! Huge difference from my prior car, a 2011 Chevy Camaro.

Where in WA? We have a fairly large Infiniti Nissan club out here (PNW_INC) based primarily out of the Seattle area, but have members all over the state as well as others due to military commitments.

I just put a message out on the page for an admin to add you. So shouldn't be too long. You didn't add me on fb though, or at least I didnt get the request. Im actually in SD right now for work, but im sure you'll see TJLAZER around, just look for the white GTR or Blue Nismo clone 370. He's my cousin, he attends most of the funtions

Also, can you send the link to the website for PNW Inc. I am thinking of being a member there too. Not sure if that's different than FB. Thanks for all the support guys. |
Its all ran through facebook, as soon as an admin approves you you'll have access
I'm Jason but I think you knew that already... lol Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 |

That's probably Northwest Nissan, which caters primarily to the 240 crowd and an overall younger audience.

It was actually Z Car Club of WA (Z Car Club of Washington | Come drive with us!). They were the ones I was thinking about that charges yearly dues. I also just realized how many other similar website there are to this one. But don't fret, I'm not jumping ship any time soon. Haha. I'm excited to be a part of PNW Inc. Saw ya added me. Just waiting for the official response from the admin. :) |
