New guy from ATL
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum (well, just now posting my introduction) but no stranger to the Z world. My grandfather had a 240, 260, and 280Z when I was a kid and I tinkered around with them all the time as he was a huge enthusiast on the Z's. I had a LSB E46 M3 for a while but after the subframe issues and all the recalls I finally sold her (for a little more than I bought her for, might I add ) I loved the power and especially the sky high redline, but tuning the car, fixing the issues and recalls, and the general maitenence were too expensive. So I'm thinking about moving on to a Z car with near identical specs from factory but a better, and CHEAPER! platform to build on. Driving a 2000 rav4 right now to help save some money, but looking to buy a Monterey Blue 370 sometime soon. I miss the power, hehe.
By the way, name's Kevin. So that's about it! Last edited by Reaver; 09-04-2009 at 02:42 PM. |

Welcome, Kevin.
I used to live in Gwinnett (Lilburn/Norcross area) and then moved to Henry County (WAY south of Hartsfield) several years ago. The MB is a really nice color and can't go wrong with it. Let us know when you finally get it! |

Welcome to the community Kevin. I moved here from GA almost a year ago. I worked at PF Changs in Alpharetta and lived in Canton.
Great to have you on board!!! I look forward to reading your posts; especially since your family has a legacy of Fairlady tuning. -Hunter |

Kevin welcome aboard.
If you re into the cars, you need to check the Southeastern Forum we have on here. We have alot of discussion going on about local events, gatherings, etc around Atlanta and the southeast for the most part. We had a small gathering just this past Thursday at the Varsity. There is a large Z gathering taking place at the end of the month here at our shop called the Z Nationals. Check out its website here: Z Nationals Event Website I would defiinitly recommend coming out if you want to hang out with a buch of enthusiastic Z owners! |
