Hi all: if all goes according to plan I will be picking up my new 2014 base model with sport package later today. It has not exactly been easy - I can understand all of the bad online reviews of this dealership. But in the words of Woody Allen, "The heart wants what the heart wants" (and I want a new Z, not a 14 year old stepdaughter"). :)

After an unsatisfactory encounter with a salesperson at my local Nissan dealer, I went to the internet sales site and hooked up with Paul. It couldn't have been better - in about three hours today I traded in my wife's old car so I can give her my SUV, picked up my 2014 midnight blue base coupe with sport package, drove to the bank with Paul to get a cashier's check, stopped by my insurance agent's, and was home. Might be a record. And only two days to Super Bowl.
