Traded '08 350z for a '12 370z

Hey everyone, really amped to pick up the 2012 370z tomorrow. Have owned the 350z for a year now and new to the Z community. I appreciate all of your hard work on these forums, so I can learn more about the car, and add the ridiculous fun these cars are to drive! Thank you

Congrats OP. Just curious, why only drive the 350Z for a year? Surely you've driven the 370Z, how would you say they compare?

Was ready for the upgrade, and I definitely feel like it is a big upgrade having the 370z. The sport package brakes make a very noticeable difference. The sound and feel when progressing through the gears off the line is a big change also. Interior is great, no more scratches on the side handles..

Thanks all for the welcome

The 370Z is a superior car, no doubt about it. But stock for stock, the 350Z's exhaust note is significantly better than the 370Z's.

I like my new 370 very much but don't feel what you experienced.

Of course this is just opinion.
I've owned and had driven an 08 350z in many different ways for almost 4 years.
Due to my associations with several Nissan dealers, I had the opportunity to drive & thought of buying a 370 many times but couldn't do it till a month ago.

I & most people didn't experience an increase in power going through the gears like you did. Sound differences? If anything I might have felt some more power at very high rpm. The ride & handling of the 370 might have felt better. Braking was not an issue.

Today I have a 370 automatic. It's my first automatic & my 5th z. Took some time to learn how to drive an automatic, but I'm fine now & feel it's one of the best automatics around. I also still have 2 other Nissans. I guess I'm a Nissan guy:)

Like my 370 very much. The 08 will always have a place in my heart.

Best of luck w your car. It's a good one.
