Default Looking into a Z

Hey guys currently shopping for a new car which might end up being a Z! I managed to narrow the search down to a 350/370z, g37, Brz, Mustang v6 premium. ATS and the new cla250 also caught my eye, but since there is obviously no used ones, it is pushing past the point I wish to spend.

I really like the 350/370, and have done a ton of reading on them. Two requirements in the vehicle I buy is reliability and reasonable to cheap maintenance costs, but at the same time I don't want something boring. From what I have read, these vehicles seem to be reliable, but its my impression from reading (correct me if I am wrong) the cost of ownership on the Z may be high. Tires, gas, brake jobs are some things that come to mind.

I have a few questions in regard to the Z I would appreciate if could be cleared up:
1. Any particular year that has the best build quality & least issues? Seems to me 07, 10, and current year models would be best? Any year to avoid?
2. What kind of miles can I push out of tires for these cars? obviously I read stocks are bad, I am talking about a 3rd party set.
3. Any odd services that are pricey I am not aware of? An example is my current car Ive driven 50k miles and all I have payed for was oil changes, new front brakes/rotors, and 2 sets of tires. Could I expect something along those lines?
4. Are these long lasting engines? ex. is it safe to assume its going to 100k no problem?
5. Long drive comfort?

If I buy used its going to be low mileage due to this being used as a DD most of the time. I found a 2007 350 locally with only 9,000 miles but the guy wants 23,000. I feel this is over priced, opinions?

This was much longer than I wanted...lol

Overall the 370 is very reliable. Yes, there are some nagging issues with the CSC and wheel lock but you don't hear about alternators and pumps going bad every 5k miles. Not sure of a bad year, maybe someone else has some data.

When something does go wrong it will cost more than a Ford to fix but less than an Audi. And you can manage ongoing costs like tires by getting all seasons with long tread life. You will give up some traction (in most cases) but gain longevity. Brakes and fluids last the same as any modern car.

The engines are exceptionally long lasting if taken care of. At least the 370's are. Not a 350 expert. I've only owned Nissans for the last 10 years (05 Altima, 07 Quest, 10 370Z, and 2013 Sentra) and have been very satisfied with the quality.

Some people don't like the long ride comfort of the seats. I imagine the G35/37s are more comfortable.

Good luck!
