Getting a Z in 1 week.
I am getting a 2014 Automatic Gun Metal 370z in about a week (Waiting for it to be shipped here).
I just have a few questions regarding it. Where can I buy the solid angel eye headlights like found on http://www.the370z.com/exterior-interior/34399-angel-eyes.html? And typically where would you go to have them installed? I am in the CT / NY area and have not found a place. I am very new to modding and would like to spend around $3,000-4,000 in performance mods. I am not going to track it - just use it on the street. What would my best options be for it? Any specific suggestions? Also, is there any specific place that would install the "clear bra"? I don't trust myself to do it on my own... Thank you very much for any help. |

$4,000 is a lot for NA performance mods. Might as well spend a little more and go with a FI setup, but that might be over the top for most people, especially for street driving.
Off the top of my head, might be off a bit. Cat Back Exhuast: $850-$2000. All very similar performance-wise, some just have their own distinct sound. Berk HFC: $500 G3 Intake: $500 Pulley: $200-$400 Headers: $800-$2000 I wouldn't recommend them because of their Bang4theBuck, but some well tell you otherwise Tune: $400-$600 Extremely underrated mod Depending on the Dyno + Conditions all this could get you up to 320whp. Possibly more if you're on a high reading dyno. |

Well Paul Walker, in that case you are going to need an exhaust can the size of a missile silo, underglow, lambo doors, tribal vinyls, a wing the size of texas, and a sound system that puts anything on Ibiza to shame.

First off enjoy your new car, and before you spend that kind of money on mods, do your research!!! Take your time and read as much as you can on the forum!! Most of all have FUN!!

I suggest driving it until ur unhappy with something. I didn't like suspension or seats so I replaced,
For headlights, there 1eighty0 headlight and real auto dynamics. For power you'll need to do something around the cats, either long tube headers or TP/HFC.

The first mod for me was an oil cooler. Your 2014 has a small one so once you drive your car hard for some duration, you will know if you need a bigger cooler.

That's exactly what I'm looking at but haven't decided on trans - a huge deal! Must have gun metal tho. With all my cars but the Ferrari the first thing I did was exhaust since factory could not be heard to my taste and mod can add a few horses. Exhaust note is key for me.

I agree, no since in wasting tons of money on NA parts. Very minimal gains to HP/$. I only put minimal amount of mods on my setup, heck a CAI isn't even worth it imop. Boost the car and call it a day. Just go with a mild set up if your worried about street driving. Save your money up.
