Just about a week ago I received one of my dream cars ever, #38th white 2014 370z Nismo!! I have decided to join this forum to meet other z enthusiasts and learn lots about what other owners have to say. This is only my second car I've ever owned so I'm new to the game. Never I have thought I'd grow such a strong bond with my car, definitely in love with everything about it. I currently reside in Dallas, TX and as a matter of fact work for Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. Anything else you all want to know, just ask I'd love to chat with y'all!

Congrats-
Hey are you sure they took the front spring clips out at the dealer? Your front end is up a lot higher then normal.
Just looking out for a fellow Nismo owner... Mine were still in when I went to the dealer to pick them up and they also had NO clue about this on the Nismo's. I ensured all 6 clips were off before leaving. Also check your tire pressure, mine were at like 58PSI.

If you don't know what I mean, look inside your front fenders at the springs. If you see black clips on your red nismo springs they are still on there. Take them off asap.

What purpose does the spring clips exactly do? I'll take a look asap! Thanks brotha

They are rubber spacers put into the springs to jack the front end up for shipping so the splitter doesnt hit. The dealerships are supposed to remove them for the customer, but almost always fail to do so. Get a flashlight and check your springs for a black rubber thing, if you see it go back to the dealer!

BTW - GREAT looking car! Enjoy it

welcome. I must say your Z is the only one I would really consider trading my 350ZR for. I am passively in the market for one in the exact color combo. If you dont mind

How much sticker MSRP?
How much did they go down, if any (excluding rebates or trade-in)?

What he said, but don't go back to the dealer... Jack the front of your car up and take them out yourself... Going to the dealer is a great way to get your car jacked up as they won't take special care with it like you would your own car

I actually took a look at my springs this morning and there are black rubber spacers. I'll go ahead and get it removed asap. It wouldn't affect anything about the car though? Because I'm actually driving it from Dallas to Houston this morning and won't have time til a few days from now.

The base msrp is the same as the previous year.
I have an advantage with special discounts since I work for Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.
