Morning 370z.com. I am on the hunt for a new car a the 370z is on my list of potentials. I desided to sign up and get some hints on what to look out for. I like to mod as well and usually have a car modded in my head before i buy it.

I currently have a 2004 BMW M3 that i've had for 5 years. Its low miles but there are bits of rust starting to show due to scottish winters.

My questions will be

-Any common faults/recalls

- Common power gains if any from bolt ons (keeping it N\A)

Welcome aboard.
Fun to drive and the car looks really good.
Common issues are steering lock (recall) and CSC failure.
Common mods CAI, CBE, and pulleys and manifolds plus tune. You can only pull so much from the car with bolt ons. You can check here for starters.

Yeah the looks are pretty striking. Great value for money as well i think.

I looked at evo x's but they are sh1t quality and reading into them they seem to pull themselfs apart.

The other attraction is the amount of aftermarket parts choice there seems to be with the zed.

I have put down a deposit on a black 370z gt. Its a 2011 manual

Yep MB Sports/touring is what I went with and have never looked back. Enjoy the new ride and you were already buying parts before you bought her....we all do that..
