Hello Z-heads!
Name's Mark. I am very seriously considering buying the Nismo 370Z and hope to use it to get back into auto-crossing again. My last car C5 Vette I sold about 3 years ago and need something fun again. I sat in my first 370Z yesterday. It had the sports package (no Nismo's to be found on the lot yet). The interior was very impressive. Seats, layout and material seem top notch. Only one problem - head room. No way could I do a helmet inside with the current seats. I really hope I can find a way to get about 1-2 inches more headroom. I really like the car so far and want to get into some heavy seat research!
Thanks Mark Last edited by Z370man; 07-29-2009 at 09:12 PM. |

Hey Mark, it's great that you have interest in a 370. But with all due respect, you and the plethora of others who make similar threads in the manner of "convince me to buy a 370, there are some qualms I have about it though"....Uhh, that's your job. It's not contigent on us to "sell" it to you. Either you like it or don't. I don't like everything about the 370, but I do like most of it.

Just as tall as you, I have found nothing but I have put it on hold as I do not have time currently to track my car. Your options currently are mostly aftermarket seats with new rails, or having someone fab you custom sliders for the stock seats. Neither of which have been done so I am unaware of any height gain.

Well, the looks are 100% your own, but you might want to spend some time looking around and see what many companies offer in upgrades. You might see that you can get more power, handling, etc. for a better price, but this all comes aftermarket with no warranty from Nissan.
