So, it's done, just put the first 100 miles on my spanking brand new 370Z, all I can say is "AWESOME". Best ride I ever had, well close to my Porsche 428S4, but so far....just thrilling. Power is great, even though I still keeping it below 4k and no full throttle, and it is just so beautiful in Pearl White. Can't wait to start modding, with some items already on order
You will love it, no regrets whatsoever, and I never through I would say that, having driven BMW and Audi for the last 15 Years. |

Don't be like that... Go at least TRY the 7AT!!! You'll be surprised at how quickly it up and downshifts. And it's more useable power because the 1st gear in the manual feels too short, lol (oh, and go feel the clutch pedal... The reason I didn't buy a M6)

I will try both before deciding but I actually love manual transmissions. Even if you get the best lap times with the AT, the MT will pretty much always give you (me ) the best driving experience. But that´s the matter of taste thing

To make it short, manual was the way to go for me, but I'm sure the Automatic is great for others, test drive both. |

Welcome! I lived in Germany for 4 years and there's not a day that goes by when I don't miss it. Are you taking your car to the Nordschleife?

That´s the point for me! It´s nice having a clutch, especially when you´re going sideways and when the streets are slippery in winter. But I´m going to try the automatic like I did with the 325i. (I chose the stick ) Of course I will! The Nordschleife is only about 120miles away from my place |

A manual is a manual. IMO there is no replacement for that, I don't care how good the auto is (I have driven the auto version and admit I was impressed). Anyways go for the Z man you won't be disappointed! Plus I'm sure in Germany you'll get tons of looks considering they aren't too many over there I'm guessing, BMW on the other hand..... I really appreciate the Germany cars though, if I had the money I would grab myself a Porsche GT3 RS My dad has a mint condition E30 M3 in the process of swapping in a euro S50, can't wait until that project is finished! Good luck with your search!

Indeed I don´t see many Zs here! Maybe one or two a year.
I love german cars! I drove the BMW e39 M5 a few months ago - what a machine! I suggest everyone to try this awesome 5l V8! And actually I had a ride in a 997 GT3 as a passenger last year with a very ambitious driver on Bavarian country road. That was an experience I will never forget! I´m gonna visit a Nissan dealer next weak to have a first close look at the 370 |
