hello !
I just joined this Forum, my name is David and I have a graphite auto 370z that I really enjoy . I have over 6000 miles and have installed stillen headers, catback exhaust, gen three intake, and underdrive pully. I also installed berk high flow cats and had technosquare reflash. By techno's dyno I amd showing 298 rw hp. I also have started doing things to trim the fat off my car. I am considering removing the battery and installing a lightweight one near the spare. I am very glad I chose the auto as i have learned to use the manual mode very well.
My opinions of the things I have done are varied. 1st I did'nt notice much of a difference with the intake and am concerned about the tubes rubbing where thet go through the front frame cutouts, and I have read that they work better with out the bumper or with cutouts but I am worried about driving in the rain with vents. The headers seem to be of good quality and let the car breath better. The berk high flow cats are by far the coolest and highest quality bolt-on I havdone so far. The cat back exhaust from stillen is the biggest let down for the following reasons. The quality is decent but not what I expected for the price. The first thing I noticed was that it is much heavier than the stock system. The second was that it was almost impossible to keep off the mid crossmember. The third was I feel the mufflers hurt the air flow under the car buy hanging to low in the very back, (I am a top speed freak) I feel the system helped the power and sounds fine, but I am waiting for something better? I loved stillen underdrive pully, weight off the front of the car, seems very high quality with a steel front seal race, and I cant tell any loss of ac performance or battery charge etc. I liked the guys at technosquare and feel they got me the biggest single gains, but after they reflashed my cruise acted funny, and they are in calif and I live in Fort worth. well thats all for now, I reall love the styling and handling of the car, wish it had less road noise, love the nav and sport pkg.........see ya |
