Newbie to the site
Hello all,
I am new to the site and to Nissan. I have previously been into Hondas and on honda-tech forum. (altough it's been a long long time) I was big into imports for many years but had to get out of it because i was spending to much money on them. NO I WAS NOT A RICER NOR AM I NOW lol. I have had a few different Hondas with swaps. All the work i did by myslef. 88 Hatch Blue B18A B16 Trans Hasport Mounts 4 to 1 header Thermal R & D C.B.E C.A.I 89 Hatch White B18A B16 Trans Hasport Mounts Portflow Head (port and polish 3 angle vavle job) Crower 404 Cams Crower TI Retainers Crower Dual Valve Springs PR3 Pistons ARB Rod Bolts 4 to 1 Header Cheap 2.5" Exhaust C.A.I 92 4Door Black H22A H22 Trans Hasport Mounts N1 Exhaust C.A.I 93 Hatch Red B16A B16 Trans N1 Exhaust C.A.I Cheap Header So this past May I bought a brand new base 2012 370z with 30 miles (which just turned over 12,000! yes i drive alot lol). Yes its automatic lol I know I know. I have never owned an auto but man I really like it. The manual mode is pretty responsive when I need it and when I don't I don't have to worry about shifting gears in traffic. I am definitely going to start modifying the car soon. I know I will start with the basics, I,H,E. I've been watching a lot of exhaust clips and man its hard to decided. I think I am leaning towards the F.I exhaust. I believe eventually i am going forced induction but just havent made my mind up on that one yet. Anyways thats enough for now. Nice to meet you guys/girls. |

Welcome! X honda enthusiast here...97Civic w/B18C swap...GSR sedan/ Comptech supercharged TL-S/CRX blah blah blah. Once they killed the H22 and Integra it was time 2 move on to another brand. Since the 2nd gen G35 I've been a Nissan fan. Enjoy the Z and happy modding!

After reading the 50 page thread on the FI CBE I was sold lol. The 3 month wait was total torture but well worth the wait! Couldnt stop drooling over the cf canisters...jus amazing. I've had Tanabe, DC Sports, Apexi, _HKS so I was paranoid it was goin 2 sound LOUD and more LOUD but no. Jus great quality. My tech was impressed with the quality and the sound. No lawnmower sound jus nice exotic and throaty. Cold start makes me smile every morning, my initial concern was it was louder than i expected but it took me no time 2 get use to. I jus got back from Orlando and was wondering how loud it would be at 80. 6th gear and quiet until i stepped on it. Love it, love it, lov it. I do hav 2 creep through my neighborhood tho lol. Trust me i dont think anyone has had any regrets. DO IT...the longer u wait the longer u really wait!
