Looking to get my first Z the first of next year. I seems like there are a lot of extra costs involved that might influence my decision. I will have to buy:

1. snow tires
2. clear bra
3. front license plate bracket
4. possibly an oil cooler

Hope it is worth it.

Welcome! Snow tires depending where your at might be a must for you. However, I got a set last year when I lived in Indiana for about $125 per tire on ebay. Look for the deals especially before the winter comes. The other things that you mentioned arent IMO things that you absolutely must have. I wouldnt think that you needed an oil cooler unless you were tracking the car or putting on some heavy mods. Just my thought!!!!
