Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself, im Dustin.
I just test drove my first Nissan 370Z today and it blew me away. I was debating on some other cars but I believe I want to go this route.
My general question is, are there any major lifechanging differences between a 2010-2013 370Z I should know about, or they are all the same with minor body mods?

I am actually a hardcore VW GTI man, but i have a 98 diesel currently, I love the 50mpg's VW wont come out with the MK7 GTI until 2014 and it has some awesome revisions, so until then I want something new.

The difference between 2010 and 2013 depends on what trim/package you want. Base/touring model (oil cooler, new front bumper/LED, new wheels). Sport package (new wheels, red brakes). Nismo (gun metallic wheels, red brakes, bose system, oil cooler).

I was there not so long ago and I made that same choice from either Camaro SS or Z, go with what you like, not what someone else likes, here's my 2 pennies

I didn't want touring because I didn't want bose nor stock navigation or stock bluetooth...

I did want the sport package however, lsd, wing, wheels

2012 Fangs

2013 LED's

Good Luck

So you now prefer a 370z vs your gti?

Well I havent bought one yet but it's already faster stock without me Havin to upgrade the intake, exhaust, tune and hpfp. I do want to make some more torque, but so far I like the car a lot. I'll be buying one within 2 weeks to a month. I enjoy the ecleticness of the car here in Milwaukee, no one drives them here. I'm just deciding the trim I want and between nismo or regular

Base+Sport I believe is the best bang for the buck.

And a 6spd of course.

I've read about a fuel starvation problem with the 2010-2011 models compared to the 2012. Does that only occur with track use or is it a daily pain in the ***?

It's only on the track. And from what I understand, it happens at about 30% fuel left.

I would say go for a base model with the sport package. You get the larger forged wheels, big brake kit, synchro-rev match, LSD, and spoiler.

Yeah that's something that I didn't realize was different when I got my base car, I saw another listing for a black Z with the sport package an didn't realize there was a difference. It was the same price and same miles as the one that I got, but a little bit farther away, so I was like screw that, I don't care about different rims. Afterwards I realized that I had screwed myself over by missing a better deal
