part of the charm with these rotary cars is that they are not expensive to maintain... i could get the rotary motor rebuilt for the cost of a brake/rotor job on an AMG. seriously, the rotary motor was selected to keep weight down. every pound counts. they are inexpensive to rebuild - very few parts - and many reputable builders can rebuild them for around $4,000 with a 5 year warranty:
