Inzred
Hi all! I am a new forum member and am currently shopping for a new Z car. Had to sell my 76 280z due to rust but I'm always on the look out for it. Hopefully someone cured it and it's still out there somewhere. I loved that car, can't wait to drive another Z soon. BTW that car was painted in a custom red metallic. Originally it was green...ugh.
I also put gold and chrome wheels on it and named it INZRED. Hence the tag.... |

I loved my 77 280z before Hawaiian rust deamons ate it. Welcome. I now have an 09 manual sport. Believe me you will love it. The new z is like a UFO compared to a 77 though.

I lived my 77 280z before rust finally killed it while we lived on Hawaii. Mine was British racing green and I thought was super cool.
The new 370z is a UFO compared to the 77, but I bet you'll LOVE it. It's half computer so find a good tuner and step into wired the world of fly by wire engine control.

British racing green, yup I think that was it. It also had gold pin stripes. I guess red just spoke my language a little better. Your all correct I've test driven about 4 2010 anniversary editions and 4 or 5 2012 and none of them are even remotely like my old Z. Still....the Z has a flair that is hard to match. And hopefully? Doesn't rust out when you breath on it.

OOOH the rust!!! I get a bit teary just thinking about it. Every time I slammed the door, about a pound of red dust fell from the guts of my UNIBODY 77 280. It was awful.
