Hi All,
I have been lurking here for quite a while, and finally decided to take the plunge and join. I doubt I will post very often. I drive an '09 Cy 370Z base+ sport. I bought it in September 2009. This is my first sports car, and I love this car. I read a lot of negative things about this car, even in this forum. The car isn't perfect, but to my mind Nissan has done an excellent job with this car. The test of any object, or tool is how well it does its job. Nissan built a BEAUTIFUL, dependable, seriously fast, nimble sports car that can be driven on a daily basis for a reasonable price. It is hard for me to imagine how they could have done better. OK the fuel starve thing is a design flaw, but as I said no car is perfect. You can spend six figures on a car, and still find problems. I have about 36K miles on my car and I am looking forward to the next 36K. BTW I decided to name my car Loni for Loni Andersen, another beautiful, buxom blonde. I knew my car was good looking when I bought it, but I wasn't quite ready for all of the attention it gets. |

welcome and I'm glad to see a person enjoying the Z for all the positives it brings to the table instead of complaining about the few negatives

Welcome, i agree there's nothing better Nissan could've done on my 370Z. The only thing Nissan should have done for sure is given all the Z's from 2009-2011 an oil cooler too, just as i have one standard on my 2012. Plus, the JDM market for the 370Z's platform is perfect as long as people do a little research, you can make her even better (for me i'm all about the perfect balance when modding, it's not all about having the most horsepower) . My girl's name is Vanity btw.

Welcome to the forum. Glad to hear a new member is enjoying their Z too. Mine wasn't perfect, but I'm getting it closer with each and every mod I install.
