BMW to a 370z
Just joined the forum and wanted to say hello. I currently own a 2007 BMW 328i that I am in the process of selling. But once that is gone, I am moving on to the 370z. My sister had a Z back in 2004 and I loved driving it. Recently, I decided to test drive a couple of 370's and I fell in love again :icon17:I am looking to buy the touring with sport model. I really love the 40th anniversary color combo, but we will see how it goes. The quicker the BMW is gone, the quicker I get my Z. Pic below of my BMW. I love the car, but I want something more of a true sports machine.

Trust me you will not be disappointed at all going to the Z. I myself come from a family full of all types of BMW's and the Z is just a great engineered machine.

I went from a 07 328i to a 370 also! Best of luck! :)

GLWS of BMW and purchase of Z |
We had an 07 328 a few cars back too. Good luck with the search.

I just traded my 325i for a 2010 Z about a week ago. Loved the Bimmer but this is a real sports car. I smile every time I just tap the throttle and it snaps my head back. Of course the BMW was much quieter, but I like rawness of the Z better. As far as I'm concerned BMW has wandered a little too far toward Luxury and forgotten it's true sports sedan heritage.

Welcome and congratulations. I went from a '10 M3 to the Z and miss some of the comfort features, but since my mods and UpRev, I'm pretty satisfied overall.
|
Welcome and good luck on selling the car! Im pretty new to the forum myself and did the same exact switch. I went from a 2011 328i m-tech coupe to a 370 and can say it was well worth it!
|
welcome and congrats!
|
Welcome & congrats. The Z will be funnier to drive for sure.
|
Thanks for all the welcomes. I'm happy you guys with the BMW's are able to give some reassurance to enhance my decision more. I am looking forward to it. I never thought the E90 would be this difficult to sell. I might end up trading it in within the next month if a decent offer doesn't come my way. Thanks again guys!

My old 328i.

I love my 370 though. It sure beats driving the 328i haha. Sometimes I miss having 4 doors for the room, but the I look at my 370 and smile so you'll do the same :) |
I must say I was disappointed with the reliability of the BMW. I had always owned Asian cars and they were bullet proof. The Bimmer reminded me of old American cars. Made funny noises when cold, electonics were troublesome. Had 2 window regulators go out at $500 a piece. Thermostat for $400! Final stage resistor on heater for a forget how much. Two broken springs for like $700. Plus many other small items. I was driving the same roads as my Honda and never broke any springs. I'm in my early sixties so I certainly don't abuse my cars. Other than all that, the Bimmer was great. Love the Z so far...I feel more confident in it's reliability too.

Welcome, I went from a 99 323i as my first car and I jus got my Z about a month ago and have never looked back!
