I thought the bmw was the 'ultimate driving machine'

Haha jk. Welcome to the club man! I love my car glad to hear someone coming from bmw over to the Z. I get a lot of dirty looks from bmw drivers and it always cracks me up

That is a clean looking 5 Series.

+1........ WOuld have thought an up grade to a 335i, or maybe...MAYBE an M3.

Almost purchased a 335i, but the deal fell through on the seller's end. I figured it was a sign and I should go with something new. Plus, the 335i turbos have not been the most reliable. Went from JAP to German and now back to JAP.

Thanks. Unfortunately a lot of BMW owners are really closed minded and think anything that is not a bimmer is ****. Luckily, I can realize there are other cars out there :icon17:

I love my 370 though. It sure beats driving the 328i haha. Sometimes I miss having 4 doors for the room, but the I look at my 370 and smile so you'll do the same :)

I must say I was disappointed with the reliability of the BMW. I had always owned Asian cars and they were bullet proof. The Bimmer reminded me of old American cars. Made funny noises when cold, electonics were troublesome. Had 2 window regulators go out at $500 a piece. Thermostat for $400! Final stage resistor on heater for a forget how much. Two broken springs for like $700. Plus many other small items. I was driving the same roads as my Honda and never broke any springs. I'm in my early sixties so I certainly don't abuse my cars. Other than all that, the Bimmer was great. Love the Z so far...I feel more confident in it's reliability too.
