picking up my first Z

I am picking up my 2012 370z gun metal base plus sports package on 04/21. Paid 33,500. I looked over every inch of the car. It is clean except for some micro scratches on the B pillars and there is as scuff mark on the drivers side interior door. I have to say it bothers me that the dealer can't deliver a blemish free car. Am I expecting to much. Would you press the dealer on these issues?

Congrats! personally, yes I would, I would make them take care of the issues before I drive off the lot

You bought it brand new right? If so I would definitely say something. I guess what you mentioned isn't 'major' but brand new should be totally mint if you ask me! At the very least get some free stuff out of him for your pain and suffering lol

Before they gave me my car, they 'hooked me up' with the usual wash and vacuum.. but the kids they got to wash my car left a bunch of swirl marks! I can just buff them out myself when I finally wax my baby.. but it was enough to mention and get 3 sticks of touch-up paint and a mug out of it. That's a $30+ value! :happydance:

Welcome & congrats. Oh hell yes I would. I picked up my '12 Nismo last Fri & I took off the front license plate & there was 3-4 small dings. I told them that it was unacceptable, so I am bringing the car back Mon morning & they are going to take the bumper off & fix/repaint it w/o any wholes. The cost to fix & rental car is coming out of their pocket. You are buying a product & you have a certain expectation & you want it to be as perfect as possible. FYI..... If you do not ask, or speak up you will never know.

:iagree: Especially for all that PAIN & Suffering...:rofl2: you will have to endure from the moment you take possession until you finnaly get it fixed. "New" should be "new"...defect free... or compensate me..
