Corvette owner looking for a 370z!

Hello all! Names Chris from MD, I just sold my 2007 C6 Z51 and now looking for a 370Z to get into! I loved the Vette more then anything and have ALWAYS been a Vette nut but after the lackluster and cheap interior and a bunch of small problems I decided I needed some quality in my car! My mom has a 2009 PW Maxima and I love it! Only better is the 370Z! So if anyone knows of any PW 2009/2010s for sale let me know!!!

weclome to the forum, look around on here, there are dealers on these forums that give members great deals for 370's, just gotta find them!

TryMe 04-04-2012 12:13 PM

Yeah I've found few in the classifieds section already! Haven't heckled out the dealers on the forum yet because I'm looking used, I know there's plenty for sale on auto trader and cars.com though!

Well I called around for insurance quotes today, the cheapest I could find was $411/ month!!! Does anyone have any recommendations on which insurance companies to check?! I was only paying $271 for the corvette which included track coverage.

Cheapest way to go, insurance wise, is to put the car in your mothers name or someone with an outstanding driving record thats over 25yo and have them list you as an authorized driver. At least thats what i did with Geico, I pay $900 every six months for 2 vehicles.

Yeah im 21 so I may end up doing, only thing is that having me on their policy makes their premium go up as well. Gotta figure out something!

wow thats high.. I pay about 65$ a month with statefarm.. I do have another vehicle insured as well though. 21 years old.

Maybe I'll give state farm a try! Yeah I don't understand why it's so much more then the corvette, I thought for sure itd be cheaper

you would think.. maybe because most vette owners are older and dont get into accidents and plenty of 350, 370Zs have been crashed.. I got that rate no accidents and 0 points on my record but have had some tickets.. I know location can play a big role as well. I also have my home owners insurance through statefarm which may give me a little bigger discount than the two car discount I was already receiving.
