New Z in Rochester

Hi All... I'm picking up my new 2012 Touring Z 7AT Coupe in the morning. Gun Metallic; black leather; BOSE sound; added the aerodynamic package to get the rear spoiler and chin spoiler. I know.... AT. Look I'm 63 and always wanted a fast, great handling sports car. My first car was a new 1970 Trans Am with a four speed Hurst manual trany... don't want to be bothered anymore. I'll play with the paddle shifters. Can't wait!

Congratulations and Welcome to the forum. I wanted the manual until I drove one. Worst clutch pedal on the planet IMO. You'll have a good time with the paddles.

Really that bad, I never drove it but I felt it and feels like you need a lot of getting used to. SRM seems to be very cool though and to know it's the only car with that kind of option on a manual.

Congratulations, dmenges, and :iagree:. I've driven sticks in the past, and don't want to be bothered with them now. Plus, I want my wife to be able to drive the car, if necessary.

Hey, man. You should have your Z by now. You, MrBrendan, and I should meet up!

Again, Congrats! :happydance:
