New to the Forum, deciding to see if I want to go the Z route
Hello everyone! I usually don't post on a car forum unless I have or had the car/manufacturer of the forum. But I decided that I would say hello. I am going to be poking around trying to decide whether or not to get a Z. So, I will apologize in advance for any dumb questions, and yes I know how to search, I have been around these these forums since the List Serv days. Matter of fact, the first LS I was on, was a 300zx. Ha, I just remembered that.
Anyway, I am deciding on whether or not to purchase a Z this summer, for the first time without a "toy" car in the garage. I have owned several fun cars before, but right now I just have the Toy Hauler, Chevy 1500, my work car, and my race motorcycles. Some cars I have owned: 2 WRXs 2 STIs 2 RX-7s Turbo Miata ITR, Civic Type - R (Real, canada car) Porsche SC4 997 Mustang Cobra (Mystic) etc... Here is a pic of me on the track: Thanks, sorry for the long winded intro |

Welcome! I think you will find all the answer to your questions on this forum. The Z is a great car, if you are on the fence about it, please don't hesitate to express your concerns/questions.

Thanks FL.
No real questions right now, just reading on numbers people are putting down without SCs and Turbos. I want a fun car that I don't have to mod the ever living sh*t out of, I am tired of worrying if its going to blow up or not. Ha! I like the idea of just adding, intake, LTHs, Catback system, suspension, and wheels...oh the idea of being able to squeeze 305s on the rear take me back to my dads Pantera ownership days. Besides, Nissan is really the only manufacturer that makes an actual "sports car" now a days that is affordable. So, that is what is drawing me to owning one. |
