Hows it going fellas?

I currently dont have a 370z but its that time to look for a new car and I was thinking about the 370z. Can you guys help me out and tell me the good and bad about this car? I wanna know what im getting into before i officially buy it. I currently have an 07 G35 coupe.:icon17:

Before you get blasted there is a search function at the top of the page that you can use and find so much information you will get tired reading it all.

As to answer your questions a better way is to describe what you are looking for in a sports car and allow the good users of this site to better describe the good and the bad for you. In my opinion I love the car but I am bias because I grew up learning how to drive a manual 280zx and had that until I bought the 350z then onto the 370z. I wanted a little more power that is why I supercharged it and now the way it sets and looks is what I want so I could not be happier. Good luck with your search and if a Z is in your future then the future look bright for you young jedi.

lol thanks for helping me, im slowly searching so when it comes time ill pick one up. It'll be a white z for sure. hows the supercharger on it? how much are you pushing

only negative is the somewhat cramped cockpit, if you will. But it's a sports car so it should be tight

I love it thus far. It gives me the kick in the pants in the 3rd and 4th gear that I thought it needed. I am currently setting at 405hp on a mustang dyno which everyone knows reads low. If I had to guess it is at 460-470 on a dynojet but as far as hp it does what I want it to do and it makes people wonder if they try to act stupid and I want to get away from them. LOL

haha good one, thanks chidz, yeah i can see how tight it looks in there but i can overlook that because ive never owned a sedan im so use to coupes. 400+ hp damn must be nice, what kind of sc are you using? I dont think ill be going the FI route im more into exterior looks thats where my focus will be.

kellyefields 12-21-2011 05:46 PM

I am stillen all the way there is a link to my build along with some good exterior pics of some things you may want to consider in my build link down below on my signature block. check it out and let me know what you think.

I was able to get the sides and the rear for around 1200 if I remember correctly.

oh nice nice, hows the maintenance on these cars? im sure DIY would be cheaper but just wanting to know the price of the more difficult ones.

kellyefields 12-21-2011 08:32 PM

not sure what you mean if you are talking about oil etc then yes the oil is a little more that for a normal car but not much. I use amsoil synthetic and use a royal purple synthetic filter and change every 5k. cost me around 80-90 to do myself but it is a piece of mind. everything else is about the same as a normal car except tires. those can cost depending which you use. If you go with aftermarket it can vary depending on if you do the work yourself or have someone else do it.
