Z as my first car? how about that...
Hello all! Long time lurker here and a brand new 'member' now that I've finally registered—waited just until I picked up my 370Z!
The Z isn't exactly my first car; I spent 4 years in college with my dad's lovely 06 Corolla, which I think is a GREAT car. Upon finishing school this past June, I decided to reward myself with the Z (just the base coupe with hardly any options, but not a bad upgrade from a corolla I think!). Having a job lined up right after graduation really helped. I'm one of those guys that secretly LOVE cars, but never had the money and balls to be a speed demon. Thanks to all current and old members for the useful threads—I did all my homework by lurking this site (for a month) before buying my Z. |

Congrats and welcome!
First thing I did when I got mine was rip out the stock head-unit and speakers as they were horrible. Worlds of difference.

Congrats and post up some pictures. Insurance must be outrageous being young and in San Jose.
