Possibly found some good deals, please help!
Hey everyone,
I'm a new forum member but I've been looking for either a 370 or 350 for quite a while now. Originally I was only interested in 07-08 350Z's but after I test drove some 370'z I am almost convinced I would be happier with the 370. The only real downside at this point is the loudish road noise, but it is what it is. Anyway, I have searched basically all of my surrounding states for deals on either new or used 370's and I have narrowed it down to two that I think would be good deals. First my criteria: Year: don't care, but must have clean carfax and lowish (<20K) miles. Model/Package: Either base or touring (if the price is right) and it MUST have the sports package. Transmission: Manual Color, in order of preference: Pearl White, Chicane Yellow (2009's), Monterey Blue, Red, Black. I don't like any of the silver/metal colors. Car #1: new 2011 370Z base manual with sport package in white. Fits all of my preferences. They were originally basically asking MSRP but I talked to him down to invoice at this point and I think I might be able to squeeze a little more out of them. As far as I know the invoice price is around 32.8 but that doesn't include tax, title, etc. Car #2: used 2009 370z touring manual with sport package in monterey blue. Excellent condition, clean carfax, one owner, <12K miles, certified pre-owned vehicle. The dealer is asking $29,900 but I haven't gone in for a test drive and I haven't done any negotiating yet, although the groundwork has been laid. Plus I think most of the dealers around here (midwest) are getting really nervous and antsy because the demand for Z's seems to be low and there are only a few months left before cold weather. I don't have a problem buying it late in the summer and keeping it in the garage over the winter, as long as I get the car I want for a good deal. I suppose I could also wait until next year. So my main question is, what do you think of these two options, and what do you think of the price on car #2? Advice? Questions/concerns/thoughts? Thanks in advance!
