The classic Z cars are definitely something to appreciate. I wish there were more in my area in fair condition. It seems like these cars are either buckets, or have enough work to be outside my price range for a 2nd car

The lens covers and air dam really transform the front end! When I had my 240, the lens covers only came in clear and weren't even pre-drilled with mounting holes. So I brained stormed and just painted the inside with black spray paint. Needless to say it looked awesome but wasn't worth a dam at night. I remember one night pulling out of a club and was pulled over, the officer commented on how great it looked but still made me take one off. That was back in the day when officers could be a little more lenient. Those were the days!

I can't stop looking, it really brings back some intense memories. I once had 5 people in that car, me and my buddy in the front and 3 girls in the back hatch! What a night!
The one thing I did notice is that the original Bob Sharp air dam didn't have the spot cutout for the directional lamps, it was strictly for track use. So I had the body shop delete the factory lamps and installed oval flat lamps to the grill. She was quite the looker!

Beautiful and congrats! Can't say I've seen many that colour
You are where I'd love to be in a few years...have my 40th Z and a 240Z...whether its in great condition or something I get to restore over the course of a few years Couple nice ones have been for sale locally...mint. Anyways....very nice pick up! One reason I love the 370 is that it resembles the 240Z lines so much

The reason you don't see many is due to the steel the Japanese used in their production. Most have just rotted away, a real shame!

Awesome! Something about those older ones that gets in your blood.
I had a 280Z about 79-80 or so. I never forgot it I always wanted another one after that. Finely couldn't stand it anymore and got my 370.. |
