Thinking of swapping my 300zxTT for a 370z
Hi everybody. New to the forum and thinking about getting a 370z to replace my 93 TT Z as a second car. My Z now has a JDM motor with 40k just simple mods jwt ecu, amsoil pop, borla exhaust everything was done by the previous owner i didnt feel the need to improve upon it bc most of my modding money was going into my truck or quad lol. but its a fun car to drive regardless but Im really wanting a newer more updated Z that is more comfortable and has a better interior. What do yall think?
Here my vehicles. 2006 Cummins Megacab 6sp, layed down 504hp and 923ft/lbs of tq at 3400ft uncorrected and the 1993 300zx Twin Turbo 5sp, no numbers for it unfortunately. http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/636/imag0126k.jpg http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/799/imag0124h.jpg http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/3928/imag0083te.jpg |
Tough call. The 370Z touring/sport package is really nice but why not just grow the toy corral?
|
I do like my Z and have entertained the thought of keeping it and still getting the 370z but at the of the day Im only one person and having 3 cars is a bit much. I wouldn't be able to drive them all as much as I would like to.

Have you spent anytime in the driver's seat of the 370Z? You should try it out in traffic, hi-way, and on some twisty roads.
I used to have a 90 300Zx. That car was a lot of fun and I miss the t-tops, but the newer 370Z is a whole different experience. The 370 has some shortfalls, but still remains a bargain for the money spent. Not for sure, but the collection looks like one for a single guy. |
lol yeah its a single guy collection for sure, Being single is what allows me to buy my toys and whatnot. I havent had a lot of seat time in a 370z as there arent many out here, i checked some out last time I went down to fl but that was a while back. Either way ill have to travel out of state to get one.

Good luck. Hope you find what you want.

You shouldn't have any trouble selling the 300. What are you looking to get for it? It's not the 2+2 is it?
|
its not a 2+2 and its in really good shape interior and exterior. the previous owner had it for 10yrs and kept all his receipts. Im prob gonna ask 6k but im not set on it.
looks like i gotta wait on my 370 purchase til i get back, scored a 6mo deployment coming up really soon, but itll just give me more time to learn i guess. |

True the more you can wait and look around the better chance you can get a great deal. |
Nice line up! I m glad I saw this post. I have been searching EVERYWHERE for a pic of a Laramie Dodge with a front light bar installed (all I can find is the non-laramie trucks on Cumminsforum.com, etc). Question...did you have to remove the factory tow hooks?
Our garages look pretty similar! 3 Z32s, 2 ATVs and an '06 Cummins Dodge (Quad Cab, Long Bed Laramie, 4x4) sitting outside. Either way...welcome to the370z! :tiphat: Quote:

If it is infront of the rear wheel = 2 seater If it is behind the rear wheel = 2+2 Some people have a hard time telling them apart otherwise, but the 2+2 is slightly longer and has a longer rear hatch. |
I would get a 370z.
Stock vs Stock wins and looks kills the 300zx. I never was a fan for the 300zx as they have so many problems. Nissan made it a bitch to work on, imo! |
