Hey guys.. time for me to grow up!

Hello all... I just bought a pearl white 2011 370 with sport package M/T. I guess by the title you may be wondering how buying a Z is growing up lol.

I have had an 06 Evo RS, a 2008 Evo GSR, and recently a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3. I only kept it for 4 months though... I just wasn't happy with the car. I was going to keep it but my a few things about the car really made me unhappy... it's really got WICKED torque steer for one, the CDFP needs upgrading almost right away and while the car can hold 5 people... my Fiancée and I are always together, have no kids and she has an 09 MS3 too. They are nice cars for sure, I just knew I would want to put money into modding it.

So now I have the 370... I read a lot about the car... it has great resale, it's very highly rated performance per dollar and it's quick out of the box and there isn't a whole lot I can do to the car aside from turbo or SCing it which i'm certainly not spending the money on lol.

Anyway, it's a very nice car. I'm happy with how it does and while i'm in the break-in period, I look forward to just cruising with my soon to be wife and not worried about how I can make it faster since it's plenty quick already.

Great to be here, i've seen a lot of nice 1/4 stock numbers and I look forward to learning more about the car.

Steve, just curious by the way... how do you feel about how your Mustang stacks up to the Z... or did stock for stock of course.

Stock for stock it compares nicely. Obviously with almost 100 more HP and gobs more torque it's a lot quicker, and the handling is great as well. The Z has a lot of understeer built into it from the factory whereas the Mustang is very well balanced -- it was a blast on The Dragon at ZDayZ this year. Definitely quicker than my Z was the year before. Both cars are gobs of fun.

Anyways, I'm not sure where in MD you are but if you're close to the DC Metro are you should check out our weekly Starbucks meets. We alternate between locations in Fairfax, VA and Columbia, MD. This weekend we are in Columbia. You should try to swing by to one of the meets if you can.

We have a thread here: http://www.the370z.com/mid-atlantic-...rday-10am.html

And a group on Meetup: Mid-Atlantic 370Z Owner's Club (Fairfax, VA) - Meetup
