Hey all! New to this forum. I currently drive a r56 turbo mini and it is plenty of fun to drive. My lease is ending this November so I am doing some research on my next car. I was looking at awd options because we get snow around 5 months a year. So I went and test drove some awd machines, audi s4 and sti. The s4 is abit out of my budget, glad that I didn't enjoy the drive, to me the car is fast but not fun to drive... it feels heavy and I am not used to the weird steering. Then the sti, alot more fun to drive but the interior finish is a trade off. I tried widen my choice and looked at the 135i, but after some reading there are too many hpfp issues, so I didn't bother a test drive. Then it leads me to the Z... went for a test drive and WOW I liked it alot! The steering feel is sharp like my mini and there is more power. The interior is nice and comfy enough to sit in. The only problem is I will need a second car for winter... :mad:

So this is my research so far and I hope the Z will be my next car.

Welcome! Some members drive the Z as a DD and say it handles pretty well with a good set of snow tires, but the majority it seems only use it as a good weather / summer vehicle...
