New here
looking at getting some information about the 370z and Nismo.
Hoping to learn as much as possible about the Z's as I can. Hoping it narrows what I want down. Not on the market yet but basically somewhere towards the end of the year I will be. My eyes are on the New Nismo, Im looking at getting a used 2010 Nismo in silver. But I guess a little bit more about me. Car wise Ive modified a 2003 corolla strange yes but it also had some work done to it as well the TRD supercharger. Currenty I have a 2000 mustang gt with some things done to it. Fell in love with it when I drove it which is I why I ended up getting it. But now my interest has changed and during that time I was looking at getting a Z 2005 touring at the time which Ive test drove some and the drive was a dream. Just recently I test drove a base 370z and fell back in love with the Z again. Which brings me to this site so I can learn as much as possible...plus I dont plan on modding the Z maybe a couple simple things here and there but nothing crazy which is why I want the Nismo. Thanks John |

More I learn the better lol.
I have done some major researching on the net and this forum. Its really helped me with options as in would getting a 370z Touring w/ sport package better than a Nismo not sure but as well I need to lay down some thoughts as well to decide am I going to do minor stuff or major stuff. |

It really depends on how you plan to use your car. A lot of people complain that the NISMO is too noisy, too rough a ride, etc.. So unless you're planning on doing a lot of track driving, you're probably going to be happier with a Touring trim.

I plan on doing some track. Theres a circuit track about an hour or two from my house.
Its really going to be a weekend cruiser though. I work alot so the only time ill have to go to the track is the weekend. alot of that little things dont bother me. I like to cruise on the windy roads alot and listen to the engine/exhaust tone as I shift up and down. |

370z strengths
Check out all the reviews and comparisons,
but to me the handling is unreal at this price. The only other option is the Mustang GT. The next step up if you can do it is the vette if you are waiting anyway keep your eyes peeled for new models |

Yeah I thought about getting the base with sport package and use the extra cash to get a full coil over kit.
I have my eyes on other models like the subaru sti, used vettes, which I dont want a vette maintenance is retarded on those cars speciAlly tires. My uncle use to have a vette and told me the maintenance cost. He picked up a 2008 350z touring auto. Reason I have my eyes on the nismo is because of the look. I haven't seen one in my area yet. But I know there's a couple running around somewhere. But what I may end up doing is while saving up money I maybe setting my gt up for circuit and keep the z as a fun weekend car......just gotta get another garage spot built |
