All the station here now have signs saying to check your car before pumping the gas as it can cause irreversible damage to your engine. This is the first time it has been sold here in Germany.

Now, having been using fuel in Germany, that is clearly marked 5% 90 OCT, (lowest grade you can buy) and filling up with E10 95 OCT, I have noticed a increase in my fuel usage by at least 50km on 50 liters of fuel.

I know you're not in the U.S. I was just inferring that we use fuel here with alcohol and it seems to work OK. Is it as good a 100% gas. Unequivocally no.
Anything the oil companies can do to lessen the quality of the fuel while charging more seems to be the order of the day.
