Hi, So Cal n00b

I joined up here a few days ago after finding my way here from that "other" 370 forum and realizing that the quality of information here was top notch and the userbase on this forum seemed quite a bit more active and knowledgeable.

I recently was in a wreck that totaled my 1995 s14 that made my decision for me on whether i was going to fix up my s14 (I was the 4rth owner and it was pretty beat) or get a new ride. It was a three way race between whether I wanted an Evo X, a new STi, or a 370z and over the last couple weeks I have decided to go the 370 route (always liked coupes and FR cars better anyway).

Currently I am rolling in a borrowed mid 90's Honda Accord, pretty much the least exciting car ever, but I am stuck with it for a couple months before I can swing the Z purchase. The plan is to get a Platinum Graphite base model with the sport package (kinda undecided on the tranny, I have read some good things about the 7 speed AT, but I am leaning toward the MT), get some mods on it and use it primarily as a daily driver with some track days/weekends mixed in and eventually compete in some time attack events.

expecting at least a couple tldr replies ... :koolaidwall:

Welcome!

There's lots of reading available here about which mod's are the most effective.

Semtex's mods

RCZ's mods

WStar's install

These are all simple bolt ons that have good results.

Welcome, there are some long threads about AT v. MT (quick search will fill your brain), and hope you enjoy it soon.
