New From Ga, Looking To Buy
Hey Guys, just thought Id drop a line and introduce myself.
I found a long time ago that the best thing you can do when looking to make a purchase is go where the people that actually own and drive the vehicle are. Did the samething with my R6 and got great advice and have never regretted my decision. Im looking to purchase a 2010-11 first of march, and have been going over the forums for a couple weeks now reading the articles to gather a better idea on what I can expect out of the car out the box. I have been pleased for the most part with what has been said and I think I am making the right decision. Im going through the USAA car buying service (Anyone used this before?) and working with a couple dealers in the Atlanta Area (Nalley and Union City) to try and find a deal. So far not having much luck finding a 2010 with the sports pack in the color I wanted. Best offer they have come back with is 31,376 (not including tax, tag) on a 2011 with sports package. I have a local dealer that has a 2010 no sport package in the color I want but they arent backing down on the asking. Anyway just wanted to say hey, and stop stalking from the shadows. |

Welcome aboard! I used the USAA service as well plus I worked the internet sales managers to get my best deal. You may also look to some of the dealers on here as they have helped many get the car at the price they wanted. Lou Fusz who is a sponsor on here along with others would be worth talking with. Good Luck with your purchase!

Ardent, I plan on doing the same thing with the local dealer here in town. I printed out my USAA certificates and Im going to play the supporting local business angle and hopefully, I can walk out with it for 28.5k or thats the goal. If the IRS wasnt lame and not accepting itemized till the 14th I was hoping to be in one this weekend.
I was a little worried about my height but after reading a couple posts I dont think it will be an issue. Going from a z71 I think the only real issue for me is going to be adjusting to ride height. |

How far is Watertown from Atlanta? I know the guys at Gwinnett Nissan. They can most likely get you what you want. Let me know if you're interested.

She arrived last night! I took her for a rinse this morning to get the road dust off from shipping (low pressure nothing but water, Ill give her a good wash this weekend). Ill post up some pics this weekend after the wash and see the SouthEast guys at the upcoming meet.

What is the quote for online? Why don't you try TN? TN has one of the lowest cost of living so it could be cheaper if you went there
Try an estimate to the closest dealer in TN near you

So a big thanks to Lou Fusz in St Louis. Worked with me and dealt with all my questions and concerns. Got me a great price even after having it shipped it beat what I could find locally. Thanks again Lou. |
