New Vendor: G&M Performance

Howdy all!

I am Bill from G&M Performance. We are in the process of being added more correctly and completely to the sight to be a full Vendor here. Many of you may know the company's owner/founder Tom@G&M (formerly member ninjaman370z on here).

I am mainly the guy behind the IT for building and maintaining the website as well as general sales support when needed. As Tom posted recently, we started off catering to the Hyundai Genesis Coupe Market on Genesis Forum: GenCoupe, but because we were doing so well with customer service and sales, the decision was made to expand into the Nissan market with the 370z as well as hopefully soon the GTR.

I personally drive a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 V6 Track with a 6 speed stick. I am a SCCA member and, while still new to autocross, am working to attend more and more events when I can. Aside from that, I also have had numerous track days at true track locations around Texas. I purchased Eva back in August of 2009. In the year and a half of ownership, I have already racked up 51K miles including driving out to the Tail of the Dragon last spring break. I didn't get to drive the Dragon that time due to a rock slide as I was driving out, but I have plans to go back as well as a road trip to California for the iconic roads out there eventually as well.

Anywho, G&M just launched our website - G&M Performance. While it only has Genesis Coupe parts at this time, the focus over the next few weeks will be to slowly add more and more parts for the 370Z and probably 350Z platforms. We are major distributors for many companies including but not limited to: ARK, Megan, Magnaflow, GREDDY, Mishimoto, KoyoRad, AEM, Injen, etc. Essentially, if it is a major performance part player, just shoot us a PM or email with the manufacturer and part number and we will see what we can do for you. We make every effort to beat any price out there! While we are currently in transition between shop locations, we will soon be back to developing our own products as well under the G&M brand as well. We look forward to hearing from yall on what you want the most!

At any rate, sorry for the bit of a long intro and thanks for having us! Here are a couple pics of my car:

Hey guys! We're glad to be here to support this community and we hope that we may earn your business with our competitive pricing and superior customer service. :)

Lastly, what would you guys like to see from us in the future? Any input is appreciated. :) We are capable of fabricating any performance product, so no suggestion is beyond our capabilities.

schrack150 02-08-2011 09:55 PM

how about fabricating an aftermarket rear strut brace

NewYorkJon34 02-08-2011 10:03 PM

A baddass carbon rear diffuser is all I really want, please make :bowrofl: lol

RockStarKick 02-08-2011 10:09 PM

Are you guys just a parts distributor or a full shop. I live in Cypress, so I was just wondering..

That may not necessarily be out of the question. We are already working hard to produce a one of a kind CF trunk for the Genesis Coupe. Do you have a picture from another car that it is similar to or could offer more of an idea of the design you were thinking?

We will be both. Currently, we mainly distribute as we are switching shop locations. Once the new shop is up, we will work on things from there. That being said, the shop location is still pending but could be in North TX, Alabama, or South Carolina, or even somewhere else. The transition is kind of in flux right now so nothing definite just yet.

As for something local to Cypress, TX, I have done pretty much all my work with Jeremy from PowerFab Automotive near Jones Road and FM 1960. Great group of guys that actually specialize in the Nissan/Infinity VQ engines and platforms. Never touched a Gen Coupe before mine, and have been able to do amazing work for good prices and quick service. I wholeheartedly recommend them if you want to ask questions about what to do or how to go about something or need Dyno testing/tuning or install work. Whatever really. Here is their website:

^^ I'll see what I can do. ;)

G&M Performance 02-08-2011 11:18 PM

By the way, we are likely moving to South Carolina to work more closely with one of our partners. Other than that, we have two warehouses in the U.S. and we normally have a full shop, but like WildBill said, we are in the middle of coordinating a move. Therefore, things are more along the lines of a part time fabrication/full time retail source for now. ;)

Keep in mind that we can still make products as long as there is interest!

NOTE: **ALL carbon fiber parts that we manufacture are vacuum infused** We also offer DriCarbon services for those that are more track-oriented than the average Joe.

Ya feel Free to PM me, hopefully we could design something and do business in the near future.

G&M Performance 02-08-2011 11:20 PM

^^ Will do! :D Lets make it happen!

Awesome, if it comes out good then I know others will buy. I have the Fast Intentions exhaust which dips down a bit. I'm pretty sure you know exactly what I want. Pm me & let's go over designs and make something sick.

You may want to PM that email and edit this post as web spiders pick up that data and your email will get spammed like a mother if ya know what I mean.

G&M Performance 02-09-2011 12:44 PM

Pm sent!

ThoriumHotdog 02-09-2011 12:47 PM

Took a look at your Genesis forum. I must say I'm impressed by the power numbers the little Genesis turbo is putting out. They're pretty spiffy. Nice layout too.

Welcome. :D

G&M Performance 02-09-2011 12:49 PM

^^ Yeah, the 2.0T can put out some decent power. One member is pushing over 500rwhp with his. Not bad at all!

500hp, WTF what did he have done to it?

ThoriumHotdog 02-09-2011 12:59 PM

I want to know too.

I remember seeing a bunch of dynosheets but some of the users didn't mention what they had done.

G&M Performance 02-09-2011 01:00 PM

^^ Built motor and big turbo. He still has room for a lot more power too. :D Fortunately, he's the only one that can give my N/A LS swapped Genesis Coupe a run for its money. lol

G&M Performance 02-09-2011 01:09 PM

Anyway, I'll be sure to drive it to some upcoming meets later this Spring.

It was when I put on the KoyoRad radiator, so that is more like 8 or so months.

Should really plan to do the Tail of the Dragon Spring trip in April if you can. I am doing everything possible to go to that.

ThoriumHotdog 02-09-2011 01:22 PM

You swapped a LS motor into a Genesis? Yowza.
