Georgia Newbie, Thinking bout a Z
Hello Z members, my name is AJ, just joined today been looking between a Z and a genesis coupe, but I think I'm leaning 90% more towards the 370z. Hopefully someone can give me some more feedback than I have already found to make my decision even easier lol. Anyways glad to be here and can't wait to meet some new people.

Where in GA. you could always come out to one of our local meets in Atlanta if your around and talk / see some of the cars. Also Raybuck on this forum has a gen coupe 2.0t and is good friends with a buncha 370z owners. He can give you probably alot of good tips for both cars.
Personally, i test drove the gen coupe and its decent. but then I test drove the 370z and well there was no decision left. I just had to get it. In the end, its what you want and what you wanna pay for. 370z = 2 door small coupe. gotta understand that and live with it. its a sports car. Gen coupe = sporty coupe (theres a diff). they could have made it alot sportier but I think wanted it to appeal to a more general audience and softened it up a bit. |
Welcome to the forum. Go with the 370Z. You won't regret it. Was I subtle or what Dai? Lol.....You should come out to one of our meets though. We're at Z1 almost every other weekend. Good luck with your purchase.

Hey man,
Im semi new here as well, Ive been and plenty of forums and this is by far the best. Oh and you WANT the the Z over the Gen. If you do choose the gen coupe get the 3.8 liter 6 instead of the 2.0t. Just my 2 cents. Enjoy the forum:tiphat: |
Welcome... get the Z

I havent been to any 370Z meets... OP where are u located?

Thanks for all the welcomes, I actually just moved from south carolina to atlanta a couple months ago so a lil new around here, I will have to come out to a meet, and I think I'm going to get a 370z over the gen coupe.

Old thread, but if you go with the Gen Coupe and plan on modifying it, get the 2.0t. Put about $4k in it and you'll be looking at about 400whp :). But if you plan on keeping your car semi stock, or even just bolt-on's I'd buy a 370z no questions asked.
