I just wanted to pop in and say hi, I joined this site last week after reading some of the posts and seeing what great level headed people most of you are. I actually got directed over here from a Camaro forum that I belong to because someone over there couldn't believe the terrible things you were saying about the Camaro ... I love the Camaro , don't get me wrong, but you have to have an open mind ... my wife has ordered hers, that is why I joined the site, to learn every thing I could.

But I have always wanted a Z, and as soon as she takes delivery of her Camaro ( May 5th ? ) I am hopefully getting my Z ( finally !!!!!! ) we will see...

So I am here, with my open mind, and love of all cars ( mostly ) and looking forward to learning all that I can about the Z and hopefully not losing myself in here too much, lol. I don't know, that could be pretty hard, I fell in love with them when I was a kid, and that was a long time ago ...................

Welcome aboard! I have read all the camaro threads, and thought that for the most part, people seemed to dig the camaro (for what it is). Surprised they had a problem with it. Give up the link to the thread?

Oh, they love it alright ! And god forbid anyone talk bad about it !!!!

What really surprises me is the fact that people ( on the Camaro forum ) will tallk about how bad the interior is, but act like it doesn't matter, funny that's where I spend 99% of my time, DRIVING the car ! So it is a little bit important...

I know that there are a LOT of fanboys out there, now matter what vehicle you look at, from a Prius to a Bugatti, personally I find joy in most cars and can't understand the blind fanaticism to one vehicle in particular, but that's just me. :icon17:

Agreed, interior is very important. It's hard to say that only the engine matters, unless you're a race car driver :D

Camaro owners/fans are a special breed - I know, Im one of them. We love the driveline. We hate how fat they are. But a large majority seem to think that its the ONLY car out there...

I'll get a new one when I make 6 figures and have a 10-car garage :-p
