new to the site. maybe getting a 370z help convince me ;)
hey guys im new to the forums. Right now i drive a 2008 civic si sedan. its fully paid off so im looking for a more sporty and nicer car. My choices are 335i, 135i, 370z and the 2011 gt. Out of all these cars i like the 370z the best cause its the least played out. The mustang would be my first choice but their automatic transmissions are crap and their clutches and transmissions dont feel too great to me. Just wanted to see if you guys drive the 370z daily and if its even possible to daily this car...

Many people have it as their daily driver even through the winter months.
As for your other cars; 335i great car, but will cost you a lot more once you add some basic options, 135i I just can't get over the ugly-ness, you could look at the 1M as well 370Z kills it in looks in and out and has great handling and perfomance 2011 gt that's a great car as well, but just doesn't do it for me, I don't like the looks in or out. Just my

and lol @ "the least played out". my suggestion? honestly? get something else. the 370z will be played out when it hits the used car lots and suddenly every high schooler can afford one. 'played out' hits hard and fast haha |

No snow where you live OP? Z would be a great DD.
At the risk of sounding vain, I like having a unique car (well, as unique as my budget will allow). So beemers would be out (way too many around). Lots of Mustangs too, but most are V6 (and I'm not in muscle car mode at the moment). So my completely biased recommendation is to get the Z if there aren't too many of them around where you live.

man, I actually had a BMW 135i just prior to my new 370z, personally I prefer the 370 alot more (I will admit though I am a long time z guy). Don't get me wrong, the 135 would go like a house on fire and was plush as all get out and managed to "fit" four people as well but the z has a much better driving feel for me on the track (or road) much more aggressive styling, and with the touring package is every bit as cushy... just my two cents there

I am bias towards the Z's since my first was an 83 280zx. I have owned 3 and the 370 is the most fun I have had. You have to ask yourself what is more important. on one hand the GT is easily modded to make great HP if that is what you are into, but it seems to me I see one every block I drive and for the exception of some badging, tires they all look the same unless you spend more for the roush, etc. the 370 on the other hand you rarely see especially going into the 3rd year of production dont know if it is because of the economy or just a smaller following either way I like that fact. To mod a 370 takes more time and money but if done correctly it will run with the big boys and without mods it still hangs with the V8 community ie GT and SS. If you go with the Z pay for the sport/touring package with Nav or the NISMO because IMO I see alot of people trying to make the base model look like them when they could have gotten one with all of this on it cheaper used. for example I got mine with only 10K and 6th months on it with everything for 30 grand. saved close to 12-15 after taxes over a new one and it still had that new car feel. I vote z, it is a fun car, good looks, has plenty of power and capable of making more all on a V6 engine. its not the size of the engine but how you use it that makes the difference.
