Reverse Logic's path to The370z.com sponsorship
Reverse Logic Limited was first introduced to The370z forum by Billarf earlier this year. Prior to becoming a Race Ramps reseller in January, we really did not offer any products that would appeal to 370z owners. Although we do have a jack pad tool that works very well with the Nissan GT-R.
Between this forum, the NAGTROC forum, and a few Corvette forums, we read a lot of posts where owners were lamenting about the issues of getting cars with low ground clearance up onto ramps. Many owners have solved their ramp issues with the standard 56" and 67" Race Ramps products. But for some cars the standard ramps are still too steep. Brute Industries offers an optional ramp XTender product which reduces the 10.75 degree incline on the ramps to 6.8 degrees. Most forum discussions about Race Ramps include a few entries from customers raving about the ramps. And for every entry praising the ramps there is usually a comment from a non-customer complaining about the price of the ramps. Frankly, the only thing worse than the cost of the ramps is the additional cost of the XTenders for cars with very low ground clearance. Even satisfied Race Ramps customers complain about the combined cost of the ramps and XTenders. Reverse Logic is not a typical Race Ramps reseller. Our low overhead model allows us to deliver the ramps at very reasonable prices. Our everyday low prices are usually lower than the Group Buy prices which you will occasionally see on the forums. We are doing our best to answer the objections about the relatively high Race Ramps prices. Fortunately, customers who purchase the ramps seem to appreciate their value proposition after using the ramps just one time. Just as important as our low prices is our commitment to influencing the design and features of the Race Ramps. A month after becoming a Race Ramps reseller we presented "forum-feedback" in the form of a suggestion to integrate the XTenders into the 2-piece 56" and 2-piece 67" ramps. Several iterations of the design later Brute Industries agreed to make the ramps as a custom offering for Reverse Logic. Eventually, the cost saving merits of the design were recognized and a decision was made to add the RR-65-2 and RR-80-2 ramps to the regular Race Ramps product line beginning December 2010. We decided to launch our sponsorship on The370z.com forum to coincide with the introduction of the 2-piece, 2-stage incline ramps. More details about the new ramps will follow shortly. Reverse Logic is fortunate to have many customer evangelists like Billarf who help forum members find their way to our website. In some ways his unsolicited recommendations embarrassed us into becoming a sponsor on this forum. :-) We are glad to be here and are hopeful that there will be enough interest in the ramps to justify our continued sponsorship. www.ReverseLogic.us |
